Meet Our Team
Dr. Traci Freeman, graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, is co-owner of TLC Veterinary Hospital & past vice president & president of the Mobile Baldwin County Veterinary Medical Association. She has also participated in several foreign veterinary mission trips including those to Kenya, Uganda, & Mongolia. Dr. Freeman’s hobbies include horseback riding, travel, kayaking, painting, & many other outdoor activities. She is married & has several four-legged children including 3 horses, 2 dogs, 4 cats, & a wonderful miniature pot bellied pig named Clover.
Dr. Lynne Leonard, graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine & co-owner of TLC Veterinary Hospital, is International Veterinary Acupuncture Society certified in small & large animal acupuncture. She is married, & while she has no two-legged children, has many of the four-legged variety. These include 4 dogs, 6 cats, & 3 horses.
Charlotte has been with TLC as a receptionist since July 1997. She is a member of the ASPCA & Wildlife Federation of America. She & her husband Steven have 3 wonderful children & 6 beautiful grandchildren. They also have many four-legged children including dogs, cats, horses, ducks, & geese.
Jessie has been a receptionist with TLC since January 2008. She is married & has 2 beautiful boys. She also has many four-legged childen including Saint ( her chocolate lab), & Baby Kitty. Jessie loves working with animals & the public & cannot see herself doing anything else.
Ginny has been a veterinary technician & receptionist since 1996 & has been with TLC since 1999. She graduated in August 2008 form Jefferson State Community College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Ginny loves being around & working with animals & cannot imagine her life any other way. Her pets include 3 dogs, & 2 cats.
Alisa has been a veterinary assistant since 1998. Prior to joining the TLC staff in 2002, she worked at a veterinary emergency hospital. She has an associate’s degree in Animal Science & participated in a veterinary mission trip to Mongolia. Alisa is also a certified personal trainer & enjoys bodybuilding. She has a Great Dane & 2 cats.
Brandi has been a veterinary assistant with TLC since 2003. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Spring Hill College in 2008. John Boy, her adorable Pug, commands a lot of her attention. Brandi enjoys working in the veterinary field, when not fulfilling her duties as an ICU nurse, because it requires critical thinking & employs her passion for the care of animals.
Katie has been a veterinary assistant at TLC since March 2007. She graduated from Troy University with a degree in Sport & Fitness Management & minor in Psychology. She enjoys playing softball & going to the beach. Katie has 4 dogs: a Golden Retriever, a Husky mix, an English Mastiff, & a Jack Russell Terrier.
Val has worked in the veterinary field most of her life & has been with TLC as a veterinary assistant since October 2007. Animals are her life as evidenced by her pets including cats, dogs, ducks, & horses.
Melanie joined TLC in August of 2008 after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Animal Science. She enjoys spending time with her family & friends, as well as three day eventing/horseback riding. Melanie's pets include her horse (Jack), chocolate Lab (Sophie), & 2 cats (Lily & Kumalo).
RaeAnne has been a veterinary assistant at TLC since August of 2009. Animals have always been her passion & she loves being part of the TLC team because it allows her to work in the field she greatly enjoys while continuously learning. She has many years of experience caring for her many animals, including 10 dogs, 14 cats, 6 pigs, & 1 horse.
Christina has been a veterinary assistant since 2006 & joined TLC in August of 2010. She is married & keeps busy outside of work caring for her children and many animals includin 5 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, & 1 pig.
